Hi, I’m Sophie! I’m a Middle Tennessee musician, artist, and gardener.

July Butterflies

July Butterflies

July is the butterfly month in Tennessee, and it seems there are swallowtails everywhere I look in my garden. While the lush vibrancy of June has faded, zinnias and cosmos have now taken the stage and the show continues… except this time, the butterflies have the spotlight. I am dazzled by their beauty, variety, and grace. It seems that new butterflies show up to my garden every day and invite their friends. I love watching these winged flowers float on the breeze in the afternoon sunshine. Please enjoy these photographs!
